Our Mission

The mission of The Saxophone Studio at Florida State University is to promote music and provide optimal educational opportunities through guest artists, fundraising events, and social networking for FSU saxophone students, local high school students, and members of the surrounding community.

Performance Opportunities

Saxophone players at FSU have the opportunity to participate in a number of different ensembles. Students can perform in the concert band setting in groups such as Wind Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Campus Band. The FSU Saxophone Studio also has a saxophone ensemble, and studio members can form quartets and other chamber music ensembles as well.
